trainers for the entrie weekend at both tournament sites. 


  • Location

All games will be played at Moss Wright Park in Goodlettsville or Drakes Creek Park in Hendersonville.  These two complexes, located ten minutes apart, are approximately 15-20 minutes north of Nashville.  Within minutes of our fields are numerous hotels, shopping malls, golf courses, antique shops, movie theaters, and restaurants of all types. In addition, both parks have two mile walking trails, playgrounds, and picnic areas for family to enjoy between games.



  • Preferred Hotels



Again, we have partnered with PackYourBoots.com to assist with the hotel selection and reservation process.  Click on the banner above for a list of properties, amenities, and other information.

PackYourBoots.com is an accredited travel agent that specializes in hotel accommodations for youth soccer teams.  They are ready and available to provide information on any of our partner hotels and offer a streamlined reservation process for ease and efficiency. 

All teams requiring hotel accommodations are encouraged to book rooms through PackYourBoots.com.  Using this service ensures that room demands can be met from year to year and allows PYB to offer the added protection of "no hotel cancellation fees" in the event that the tournament is cancelled in its entirety, by tournament officials, due to severe weather. 

If you do not see a hotel on our list that appeals to your team, contact PackYourBoots.com at info@packyourboots.com and they will assist in securing rooms at other hotels in the area (they’ll do the work for you!).

 

  • Competition and Formats

We will accept Girls teams in the Under 9 through Under 18 age groups, and Boys teams in the Under 9 through Under 14 age groups.

We will offer 6v6 for U9's, 6v6 and 8v8 for U10's, 8v8 for U11's, 8v8 or 11v11 for U12's, and 11v11 for U13's and up.  We take great strides to bracket teams according to their ability level by providing Gold, Silver and Bronze divisions in most age groups.  

 

  • Registration and Payments:

    Deadline – March 26, 2010 
  • Checks and Money Orders should be made payable to “TUSC” with your Confirmation # and Team name and should arrive by March 26, 2010 :

    If your coach has multiple teams it is important that all of their teams list them in the same manor on the application (ex. Samantha Smith / Sam Smith or Michael Jones / Mike Jones) in order to sort conflicts. Also if the coach has two teams there will be no conflicts in pool play. In the event your coach has more than two teams every effort will be made but you must have an assistant coach.

    • Tournament Fees

    6v6 (U9 and U10) $385 per team

    8v8 (U10 playing 8v8, U11 and U12) $425 per team

    11v11 (U13 and above) $485 per team

    $25 per team discount will be given to teams for rapid payments.  To qualify for the discount, applications must be paid by credit card no later than March 5, 2009.

    • Paperwork Requirements

    Each team must provide the following at tournament check-in:

    ·         Laminated Player Card with picture for each player.

    ·         (5) copies of State Association approved roster (no more than 3 guest players per team) With players uniform numbers listed on the roster.

    ·         Medical Release Forms for Each Player

    ·         Permission to Travel Form (If applicable)

     

    • Check in Procedure
      Check-in will take place on Friday, April 23rd from 4:30 pm till 9:30 pm at Drakes Creek Park in Hendersonville.  For late check-in or for special arrangements, teams must make arrangements in advance. Email request with “Team name  / Check in request”  in the subject to: cupinfo@tnunited.com.

      Teams must bring all the paperwork outlined in the paperwork requirements section outlined above to check-in.

    ** Dogs are not allowed in the soccer field areas of either park.



    • Awards

    Awards will presented to 1st and 2nd place teams in each division (ex. Girls U12 Gold 8v8).

    Trophies will be awarded at the end of the last game scheduled in a division.

     

    • Vendors and Concessions

    We have vendors selling kettle corn, soccer equipment and tournament photography. Concession selections include chicken, burgers, pizza, Chick-Fil-A sandwiches, snow cones, as well as a large selection of refreshments and snacks. If you are interested in becoming an approved tournament vendor please contact Jim Carr at 615-596-6673 (jcarr@tnunited.com) for additional information including city fees and agreements and other requirements.

     

    • Tourney T-Shirts and Sweatshirts

    Customized t-shirts and sweatshirts will be available on-site for purchase.  We will have all sizes and various colors for you to choose from.

    NOTE: OUR TOURNAMENT SANCTIONING DOES NOT ALLOW FOR U8 TEAMS AND U8 PLAYERS TO COMPETE IN THIS EVENT.

    ALL PLAYERS MUST BE BORN ON OR BEFORE 7/31/2001 TO PARTICIPATE. NO EXCEPTIONS.

    . Player Registration, item A-8 outlines the ruling. As our tournament is sanctioned by the Tennessee State Soccer Association all teams entering our tournament must abide by TSSA policies and guidelines concerning player eligibility.
